[At end of article on building of new Church in
Philadelphia:]
No sooner had th'Almighty ceas'd, but all
The multitude of angels, with a shout
Loud as from number without numbers, sweet
As from blest voices, uttering joy, heav'n rang
With jubilee, and loud hosanna's fill'd
Th'eternal regions---
---Then crown'd again their golden harps, they took
Harps over tun'd, that glittering by their side
Like quivers hung, and with preamble sweet
Of charming symphony they introduce
Their sacred song, and waken raptures high,
No voice exempt, no voice but well could join
Melodious part, such concord is in heaven.
